It Local has bought the Doetinchem Infotune ICT, specialist in private cloud and network services. It is the first takeover of the IT service provider after it came under the umbrella of Smizer at the end of last year. This is a group of regionally operating IT companies with investor Riverdam as a capital provider behind it.
IT Local changed the investor at the end of December. The IT service provider was in his hands Batavorum Capital. He sold the company, including the Clevir section, to Riverdam, after which it was placed with Smizer, a group of regionally acting managed service providers. Smizer is further expanded with capital from Riverdam through acquisitions.
The IT Local label, with branches in Arnhem and Houten, has now committed its first takeover: IT service provider Infotune ICT. With this company from Doetinchem there, IT Local is growing through to 45 employees and claims to serve more than fifty thousand users. The location in the Achterhoek closes in the long term, just as the name Infotune ICT will disappear.
